A week or so ago, I was walking home from the Footlight Club, after managing the house for their productions of Vampire Lesbians of Sodom and Sleeping Beauty or Coma. The producer of Vampires had just told me that Ben over at Sweet Christopher's had donated a bunch of desserts for a post-show party at the theater. I stopped in to tell Ben how absolutely cool he was for doing that and, of course, to grab a snack (a mini pecan pie, which was yummy!).

While we were chatting I noticed that he had a NFN name tag on. Not just stuck to his shirt, but in a plastic holder, which meant he was hard core! I asked him how long he was wearing the tag. "A whole year, of course!" he said. Even though I had finished up my month of name tagging, I still had mine in my bag, so I pulled it out and put it on. A bunch of people who had come into the store started asking about the tags. Ben pointed them toward his supply of blank ones, and several people put them on.

This kind of thing is what makes JP such a cool place!
